With us you will never feel like "just another jump". Although our instructors have done many thousands of safe skydives we do realize that your jump is YOUR first!
We are the ONLY skydiving provider in Santa Cruz, California. Skydive Surf City focuses on first time Jumpers!
 With about twenty minutes of instruction, you will gear-up and fly up to altitude. Then, while harnessed to a fully trained and licensed tandem instructor, you will leave the aircraft and freefall to an altitude of about 5,000 feet, a trip that takes about a minute at approximately 120mph.
Once the parachute has been deployed, you will have four to five minutes of time to enjoy the view, learn about parachute flight, practice for the landing, and just enjoy the ride. You are then invited to assist in flying and landing the parachute softly and safely onto the beach.

*skydives with beach landings are subject to weather conditions. If there is e.g. fog on the beach there is the possibility to land on our inland landing area which is only a short distance from the coast but is almost always clear
*Skydives that were purchased through 3rd party agents never land on the beach! There is the possibility to upgrade to a beach landing on the day of the jump
